Our Components

BED

The machine features a one-piece cast iron bed with reinforced ribbing for maximum rigidity and vibration resistance. The bed includes a large, well-seasoned, inverted V-guideway to support the table. All slideways are precision-ground using an imported high-accuracy slideway grinder, ensuring superior dimensional accuracy and long-term durability. The casting is made from high-grade alloyed materials to enhance hardness and wear resistance. 


TABLE
The table consists of two sections: a lower slide with Vee and flat ways for stability and an upper swiveling table for taper grinding. Taper adjustments are made via a precision fine adjustment screw with a graduated scale. Two adjustable stops are provided to limit longitudinal travel, ensuring repeatable accuracy. 


WORKHEAD

The detachable workhead is designed for both revolving and stationary center grinding. Power is transmitted through V-belts from a dynamically balanced electric motor, minimizing vibration. The workhead offers four speed settings to accommodate different job requirements. It can swivel up to 90° towards the grinding wheel and 30° towards the operator, allowing for precise taper, conical, and face grinding operations. 


TAILSTOCK

The tailstock moves smoothly along the table and features a center-carrying spindle running in a precisely honed bore. The spindle is spring-loaded and adjustable via a knurled knob, with lever-operated rack-and-gear movement. A quick-release mechanism enables rapid workpiece removal and insertion. The tailstock accommodates MT3 or MT4 tapers, depending on specifications. 


WHEELHEAD

The wheelhead is engineered to maximize operational efficiency by reducing overhang and eliminating vibration. The unit can swivel up to 60° in either direction. The wheel spindle, available with taper roller or bronze bearings as per requirements, is powered by a dynamically balanced electric motor through a V-belt drive. The grinding wheel is securely mounted on a wheel flange, and in-feed movement is controlled via a precision handwheel. 


GRINDING ATTACHMENTS

An independent motor-driven internal grinding attachment, connected via an endless belt, provides vibration-free operation and high efficiency. This attachment is suitable for precision cylindrical and taper hole grinding.
